Hi, I'm Dr Claudia Mendonça — the doctor behind Glow.

For much of medical school and my early years in practice, I wasn't sure which direction I wanted to take. I spent a lot of that time in family medicine and emergency medicine — work I valued deeply — but something always felt missing. So much of traditional medicine is driven by volume: pushing numbers, seeing as many patients as possible, where a person can quietly become just a number rather than someone whole. I never felt fully aligned with that.

A field where science meets self-confidence.

What stayed constant was a pull toward skin and regenerative medicine. So once I'd completed my community service years, I set out to explore aesthetic medicine properly.

And I found exactly what I'd been looking for: a field where science meets self-confidence. I was drawn not just to the artistry of it, but to its role in regeneration, longevity, and the psychology of how we see ourselves. Here, I finally have the space to treat someone as a whole person — to build a genuine relationship, and create a care experience that's truly personal.
