Meet Dr Claudia Mendonça
Hi, I'm Dr Claudia Mendonça — the doctor behind Glow. For much of medical school and my early years in practice, I wasn't sure which direction I wanted to take. I spent a lot of that time in family medicine and emergency medicine — work I valued deeply — but something always felt missing. So much of traditional medicine is driven by volume: pushing numbers, seeing as many patients as possible, where a person can quietly become just a number rather than someone whole. I never felt fully aligned with that.
What stayed constant was a pull toward skin and regenerative medicine. So once I'd completed my community service years, I set out to explore aesthetic medicine properly.

Both. IV drips can be delivered at your home or hotel anywhere in Cape Town, or you can be seen in clinic at the V&A Waterfront (Portswood Ridge).
Two ways only: message the clinic directly on WhatsApp, or book yourself a slot on Fresha. WhatsApp is best if you are not sure which treatment you need.
For the medical weight-loss programme, yes: an initial consultation and blood tests are mandatory before any prescription, and your plan and pricing are set individually. For other treatments, message on WhatsApp and Claudia will tell you what your goal needs.
Dr Claudia Mendonca, a medical doctor. She trained at Groote Schuur Hospital and worked in emergency and family medicine before moving into aesthetic and regenerative medicine.
IV vitamin drips start at R1,500 per session and a consultation is R750. Botulinum toxin is priced per unit, so you only pay for what you use. The full 2026 price list is on the Prices page.
